Although my visit to the office was perfect, trying to schedule it was nearly impossible. Each time I called I was put on a call back system. I was unable to answer the call back due to the fact that I am a teacher and was back in class and my phone sends unknown numbers to voicemail. I would have preferred to have been given the option to hold on the line to speak with someone. As a result, I had to walk into the facility without an appointment.

One Woman at front desk a bit snarky..the other two were ok.

This was by far the best AMI office I have been to. The techs were so good at gently finding my tiny veins without bruising my arms and Tabatha was excellent at administering my MRI while keeping me informed throughout the test and making me feel at ease. I plan to book this office regularly going forward!

I was a mess today. The girls that did the MRI were so comforting and got me through the test. I sadly had a panic attack after and the staff behind the desk jumped in and one went in the hall and took the time to call me down. It would have been helpful if the MRI tech communicated with you. I have had 2 MRI’s before and the techs always told you how much longer. Today the didn’t even tell the the mri was over until they entered the room and moved the table. Communication during the procedure definitely helps me in the past. This experience was not as pleasant.

When booking the appointment, I was given the wrong information regarding renal ultrasound prep for my 8yr old son, then the prescription was not accepted at this AMI location, despite the same prescription format being used the week before for my older son at a different AMI location. We waited over an hour for a new prescription to be faxed over and my son was in agony holding a full bladder when it was not necessary for the ultrasound he was prescribed. Very dissatisfied

Everything was great but i was not informed about needing to drink water before an ultrasound. The tech was fantastic and was able to work around that but that would have been good information to have before hand. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

I love going to the toms River office. They’re also chipper and eager to help you and so pleasant to talk to not like your brick office. They’re all uptight.

Overall good experience with my exam and the staff. I’m not giving 5 stars because my only concern came when I was told the blanket I used would be thrown away if I didn’t want to take it. Why would you throw perfectly good blankets in the garbage to be sent to the landfill? What a wasteful solution! There’s got to be a better way! Had a long wait, but it wasn’t their fault. You know how technology can throw a wrench in things. They were very kind and knowledgeable and assuring through the whole process.

Suggestion: how about having some blankets for 80-year olds people like me who are always cold? I was freezing - could not stop shaking. The office was very chilly, which is understandable in this heat wave, but all they had fo me was 1 thin little blanket that only helped a little. They offer HEATED, much thicker blankets in AMI/EHT. Other than that, this is AMI is fine. I have not complaints.

Would have liked to be administered medications earlier in order to shorten the amount of time I needed to be there. I was there 2 hours earlier than my appointment and could have had the meds then so that by my appointment time I would have been ready for the scan. Instead of starting the process later and having to stay longer. Staff was friendly and helpful.

receptionist was rude and told me she didnt have my Dr listed on file which you sent him reports last year and she told me I needed a referral for a mammagram which legally I dont. and tech was extremely rough. It was the worst mammogram I ever had in my life. I left there with a cut under each breast and my chest bright red hours later. She was very nice though.

Horrible experience for my MRI with contrast exam. I was in pain when injected with contrast and the needle when the technologist was trying to find a vein.. I told her it was hurting me and she told me a bruise would be left. Per my request, She went to go get the nurse to look at my arm and they gave me ice packs. Within the hour I was purple and black on my arm and I am assured that I was experiencing phlebitis and

The procedure was (luckily) quick for me. Didn't have to get into gown or do a lot of waiting around. It wasn't fun, but it wasn't awful either.

He explained everything that was about to be done and very well! He was very professional, sweet, gentle. Compared to the CT Scan I had at Brick Hosp in the ER all I heard was how busy they were that day, I was patient #160. I should not know this!! AMI needs to hear how amazing my experience was due to Yaron! In addition, my blood pressure spiked and Jennifer the Nurse came in to check me.She was so professional and calming! AMI, I will NEVER go anywhere else for my radiology! I hope these 2 employees are recognized for their EXCELLENT service! (I was a Director in hospitals and spent 30 years in healthcare business. Trust me when I say how outstanding they both were) Below you ask about AnnMarie, I do not know who this is.

The appointment went well but I received way too many reminder notices about the appointment.

Everyone was Awesome. Very friendly and professional. Great atmosphere. I wouldn’t change a thing. I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of this service.

Needs new floors

I was there to have MRIs of my brain. It took about 1 1/2 hours. Although it was uncomfortable, noisy, and difficult, the entire staff were so kind, helpful, and comforting.

Wait to check in at front desk was a little long, especially when I saw several people in that area and only one person was being helped with a long problem.

This AMI location is excellent in all matters. Staff professional and kind. Office is spotless. Parking is easy and accessible to building.

Not happy at all. My appointment was at 1:15p. I arrived 30 minutes early and wasn't seen until 145p. I had to be in Neptune by 3p which I thought I would have made it, but of course, I didn't. The reason was due to surgery and experiencing pain my doctor wanted a CT scan soon. The lady who took me to the room was nice. I just was upset cause I made an appointment to be seen at a certain time and that was not what happened.

Checking in for my mother’s appointment was terrible. No one even acknowledged that I was there. After several minutes I was asked if they could help me. I also would like to be able to see my mother’s test results and I am unable to set up account with my email because I already have an account for myself and can’t use my email twice and my mother doesn’t have an email account of her own. I’m sure there are several elderly patients who have caregivers and not being able to set up an account for them to help them with their health care is very frustrating!

waited almost an hour - however technicians were excellent. explained everything that they were doing and all side effects. great service.!!!

Exceptionally poor communication from the staff who left me for 40 minutes after completing my mammo and no one would tell me what was going on. They walked by me several times, someone asked me if I wanted a blanket, which was kind, but no one could take 2 seconds to say anything about what was going on. Only after I went to go get dressed, did someone say they needed more photos. A frustrating experience that didn’t need to happen had better communication been utilized.

Jonathan was great. He explained everything well. He made my first MRI a good experience.

Instructions emailed to me from AMI clearly stated in bold to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time, as well as listing a requirement to wear a mask throughout the visit. I arrived 30 minutes prior to my scheduled appt and wore a mask (I'm immunocompromised so I appreciated the idea of ppl wearing masks). Not only was I the only patient donning a mask, but several patients who checked in after me were overheard stating to the receptionist desk that they were there for an appt, of which their arrival time was less than five minutes from their appt time. I was eventually called back after my appt time to get changed and proceeded to sit yet another 30 minutes in a cold gown while waiting for my appt to begin. Why ask people to follow these protocols when you clearly do not enforce them? And why is the wait so far past my appt time? Unacceptable.
