I was nervous being a big guy with claustrophobia but everyone was helpful . The MRI was over before I knew it

Was able to get an appointment quick and the receptionist that checked me in was very polite, friendly and professional.

I had problems scheduling due to wrong info from my insurance company. Jill was wonderful she straighten the problem and I was happy to get the sit in mri. The mri tec who did the mri was very good also She told me everything I needed to do to get a good mri!! Sorry I don't remember her name but she got 5 stars also

First of all, if I can help it I will never come back to a AMI facility for a MRI. This is not the first time I had a horrible experience. Your staff are not nice to people and seem like they hate their job. They need training in how to treat people. The phone scheduling people are not helpful and incompetent. They should be trained to explain the proper machine for you. When the chair MRI was suggested and recommended I should have been told the chair machine is for the last resort. That was the 2nd person I spoke to and the first one just wanted to get me scheduled and get me off the phone, another unhelpful person. And when Dec 11th was first suggested she could have offered to check Black Horse Pike. They want to give you what they want to give you and not something that fits into the patients schedule and then get you off the phone. The chair MRI was recommended but the person should know it’s for last resorts. I am not the only person who has had a bad experience,

Everything went fine after I got over the shock of filling out more paperwork. I just had X-rays done last week and thought I had given them all the info they needed..

When I walked in I was scared...an MRI is nothing to sneeze at right?...even though it was an "upright" machine...then I met the "ladies" and I felt at ease right away. They were great, made me feel safe and cared-for. The procedure went well, I was a good patient they said, and the experience that I had dreaded was over and I was fine, thanks to their professionalism and kindness.... hey, give them an extra day off, they deserve it!!

I was told to arrive 30 minutes before my appointment by the person who scheduled me, even though I said I was going to fill out my forms online. When I got there I was told it was unnecessary. I ended up sitting there for half an hour before I was taken to the back for my appointment. I was also told there were no semi open MRIs except in Northfield. I had a semi open knee MRI in December at Egg Harbor Township so I don't know what the scheduler was talking about.

This was the first MRI I received that I can say I was comfortable! The staff was friendly and helpful since I was still a bit nervous not knowing what to expect.

It would’ve been nice to have been told to bring earplugs, and been told how long each test will take. I was told afterwards when I mentioned about your plugs and communication that that machine did not require earplugs, but I would’ve loved to of brought my own then, because my ears are ultra sensitive, and I was not asked if I would like a pair, nor explained that machine because it was ““required them “. And as far as not having a microphone to tell me what was going on while my test was going on, it would’ve been nice to have been told beforehand that you’re gonna have a series of four or five tests about this amount of time, so I would be able to know what was going on. The office is old and could use a little update with microphones. And as far as the office staff, they could use a little smile or two I felt like I was bothering them because of having an appointment. Way too tight on the bar above my forehead. I felt pressure on my head for the rest of the day.

The staff was very angry and rude when I arrived. I have not met any of them before. I was injured when my shoulders were jammed into the sitting MRI and when I could not get out the electric seat lift was raised to try and force me out. With my shoulders wedged it compressed my spine. I yelled for her to stop but she kept going until the pain was unbearable.

I came all the way from Massachusetts to have an upright MRI because I’m prone to vertigo when lying flat. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and efficient. So glad I made the trip.

There is only one changing room. I was offered the rest room to change. I immediately felt completely degraded. Was I to place my clothes on the sink and sit on the toilet to get dressed. I’m not there for fun, I’m obviously having a problem hence my visit. I’m also disabled. I still can’t believe it as I am writing.

Very impersonal yeah say that plus we’re not informative at all did everything just a matter of fact OK not like he HT where everything was done perfectly

Everyone in that office was very helpful and professional, not to mention really pleasant. That means a lot to patients who are already stressed out just having to have the test. I have been there before. The experience has always been pleasant. God bless you all !!

the staff was exceptional

The woman at the desk never cracked a smile and was very ALOOF ! I tried very hard to feel welcomed. I was very mannerly and respectful. She was still snooty so I gave it to her right back. She then went and prepped the lady doing the MRI for a patient who was difficult. Immediately I was treated like I would be a pain by the lady doing the MRI. I just requested that my neck be done first because that’s where I have the most tension and I may spasm. I could tell this was an inconvenience for her. It wasn’t about making me feel comfortable. She asked why I came to the sit up MRI and told me it’s not as good as the lay down one. She freaked me out by telling me I would be in there for two hours. I had to ask if and when I would have breaks- I wasn’t reassured of any before hand. She also didn’t talk to me between takes like they normally do in an MRI. In the end I was reassuring her I would do a good job instead of her reassuring me I could get through it! Negative atmosphere

My tech Denise helped me through my test...she was understanding to my dizzy condition, explained the test and encouraged me I could do it...another tech gave me a fan, which helped alot.

My tech assistant who took care of me in the back made everything tolerable. Her assistant with everything was second to none.

The staff in this office was very miserable and rude, I had no personality whatsoever. The technicians seemed as if they did not know what they were doing, and were not very kind or caring during the procedure at all terrible experience.

The staff was very cordial and helpful to my wife for the MRI as she was having anxieties. We traveled from Millville to take advantage of the sitting MRI---VERY HELPFUL !...only small suggestion would be to have cloth scrubs instead of the paper ones. Thank you

Was the first appt of the day. The restroom toilet seat was not clean. The changing room had full trash can with paper clothes that you had to change into. Not very clean. Staff was awesome.

They had the tv on but most of the time you couldn't hear it and it had soap operas on anyway which I would never watch. There is no sense in having the tv on with all the noise from the mri machine. The people were nice and courteous.

The woman at the front desk is not inviting and less than friendly. The MRI staff were not polished professionals like you would find at other imaging places. Lastly, there was difficulty requesting prior images from another imaging place and the fax would not go through. I called the other entity and they said they consistently have issues receiving faxes from AMI. They offered me an email address instead for AMI to use. The MRI tech said she was not sure she could use email or did not know how. I told her it was a common practice at other imaging places when there are fax issues. I asked her to call me if she couldn’t make the request via email. I have heard nothing so I hope it worked. The last thing I need is to have the report held up because of a technical issue that AMI has. On the positive side, the upright MRI was great. Thank you.

Typically I have a good experience at AMI. The tech was very abrupt and was not at all concerned about my comfort. She did not explain what was going to happen nor how long the test would be. Instead when I said the machine was impacting my ribs she basically threw a pad at me and said “are you going to be able to do this? The test is 40minutes” she should have taken me out and tried to help me adjust myself to be more comfortable. Upon check in the receptionist, Jill was very pleasant and helpful.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, keeping me informed of the procedure.

Well the test is going on I would’ve felt better having some communication with the technician. Somethings like one more test to go or this test is only gonna be two minutes. No communications for 25 minutes is a long time. Knowing is better than not knowing. Thank you

This is a broken system. No continuity. I have been there before and added the same documents...just plain stupid. No prescription received so why schedule the appointment . This has happened 2 times before. I doubt you even read these but if you did, you would contact me. I am a doctor and your system is terrible.

I am unsure why Binny is missing from people I can rate individually, she would get 5 stars from me, as I interacted with her during my visit. But she remembered me from prior imaging many years ago. What a Fabulous memory and a true professional. Helped ease my stress of testing especially during these times in a pandemic from time she greeted me until I left.

I was given an appointment at 7 AM by scheduling to appear at the office by 6:30 AM. When I got to the office I was informed that they don’t open until 730 so I waited outside in my car for over an hour.

Front desk was pleasant and efficient. The clinician was wonderful. He was parity and professional. I was in a fair amount of pain and it was difficult to sit still, so I really appreciated his patience

It would really have been helpful if she would have given me a heads up on time as i was sitting in the mri and had no idea when it would be over. also a girl working in a back office was so rude and gave me a serious dirty look when i asked her a question because I couldn't find the technician..

My appointment was at 3:30, they told me to arrive a half hour earlier which I arrived 40 minutes earlier. And I did not get seen until about 10 minutes after four . A women came in at 3:30. She only waited for 10 minutes to get called in the back. At that time the receptionist told me when her test is done it will be my turn.
