I arrived at my appointment at my scheduled time and approach the front desk to check in. I was surprised when barely greeted and coldly told was that I was supposed to be there 15 minutes earlier and that my appointment may need to be rescheduled. All of my information was already submitted online so it took two minutes to check me in. I understand that tardiness is annoying and can throw off the entire schedule, however, the front desk should be more sensitive to the fact that most people are already anxious coming to these appointments for ultrasounds or biopsies to rule out serious medical conditions and it is not necessary to upset patients further prior to their procedures. If I could not be accommodated because I did not arrive 15 minutes before my appointment time, I could have been kindly informed. A little kindness goes a long way. The procedure itself was fine.

I was a bit annoyed because I was told to drink 32 oz of water for my kidney and bladder US and or KUB xray yet both techs told me I did not have to. Just stressed sitting in packed waiting room with line out the door needed to pee only to find out I did not need to drink all.that water and hold it. Please get your facts straight.

I kid with folks saying that I am a Platinum member because of the multiple times that I have been to AMI for service. I have never had any problems when going to the Brick location. Front desk & Clinical Staff are all always willing to be of assistance and make every attempt to satisfy any of my needs from when I walk in through the door to when I go back to the xray or other rooms. Just one glitch at the front desk this time but nothing big. The Clinical staff makes me feel comfortable, assists me getting on/off of the table, etc. and always explains the procedures in an understandable manner. Always willing to make a CD for me.

Walked in today to make two appointments and found out I was able to get one of the tests done today.

Office is run so efficiently! My appointment was at 9:00 and I was in my car at 9:15. Everyone is super nice from the front desk to the testing techs.

I had a great experience with everyone at Brick AMI. The staff were all kind and compassionate. I had an open MRI and was only able to complete it because the staff was so understanding and patient with me. They are fantastic!

I was coughing and the xray tech actually stuck her hand through the dressing area curtain holding a mask while telling me she didn’t want anything! I explained I was already tested and I am negative for Covid. She interrupted me and said that there’s a lot more going around: RSV, pneumonia! I was so incredibly embarrassed. Then she said, the front desk should have given you a mask!!! I truly was furious and all of this should have been handled in a much more professional manner.!!!

Jennifer greeted me when I came in, made sure she had everything she needed in a very pleasant manor. Edgar was also very pleasant, answering any of the questions that I had. I had scripts for the three regions of the spine and Oscar scheduled three different days for the appointments. Edgar changed the third appt so that I would do 2 on the second day of appointments. Oscar gave me appointments the same week that I called. I’m very pleased with the service that I got at AMI at the Brick office. I would definitely use them again and refer to them.

From the time I walked in everyone was extremely curious and helpful. They explained everything and asked if I had any questions. When I was leaving they said hope you feel better. These little things mean a lot when you are in pain.

Front desk lady was rude to others not myself but we were all exposed to her rudeness. I’m sure it takes a lot of patience but if someone doesn’t have that kind of personality and they shouldn’t be at the front desk. Besides so weakness, she didn’t know it’s been a day but again if she can’t handle the front desk roll, she shouldn’t be there. The young lady who waited on me is very nice unfortunately I don’t know her name versus the older lady who is rude

I have been to this facility several times. Each time the staff is friendly and professional. They will assist you with any questions you have. I have been to another facility where I had to go back the next day for a disc which is time consuming. This is by far the best facility that I have been to.

I didn't have an appointment but the staff was able to get me in. They were polite, helpful and very professional.

HAD TO WAIT A LONG TIME FOR MY DISC AFTER THE IMAGING

I rated the second visit today. The first visit was a debacle. I drove from Barnegat to Brick, a 40 minute drive only to be told that my appointment was canceled because the equipment was down. I checked my messages and there was a message left for me at 3:30 telling me the appointment was canceled. I was in the office when that call was left. This is not acceptable especially when the front desk associate told me the machine had been down all day.

MRI TECHS WERE GREAT friendly and quick. I was nervous for no reason but open MRI next time it was tight kept my eyes closed. Immediate report just WOW

I was registered very quickly and called in right at the time of my scheduled appointment.

I was taken on time & the procedure was explained well & performed efficiently. But I was freezing in the CT Waiting Area. And it was really obviously just a converted alcove with a tv & a bathroom (that was shared with the staff). I asked one of the staff for a blanket which she got for me right away. The front desk staff was very loud & talking about their own personal stuff. It’s nice that they’re friends but it makes a waiting patient wonder if their records are being handled correctly. I have been satisfied when I had other tests here, & my procedure was done perfectly, but today the loud chatty front desk & the freezing waiting room left me a little disillusioned.

From front desk to diagnostic staff all were attentive, reassuring, and professional. I’ve been here several times and I know I’ll be in good hands. This certainly makes the anxiety disappear…thank you for being so kind.

I waited 45 minutes to be seen for Tuesday mid-morning appointment. It was not busy, there were approximately 5 other people waiting in the waiting room. People arriving before me were going to get their x-rays and MRIs. The whole point of scheduling online was to avoid long wait times. After arriving 20 minutes before my appointment (so I was now waiting an hour!), I asked the front desk girls how much longer. They were nice and did call the tech who said approximately 5 minutes. However, when I was speaking to the front desk, they called back another patient who arrived after me and waiting a lot less. I was only seen for no more than 5 minutes to get the x-ray done. Then, when I was told by the front desk a disc would take 10-15 minutes to get. I said okay. I received a text message saying the report was complete, but had not gotten the disc yet. I went back to the front desk to ask about it. They said nothing was in the burner. Waited 30 minutes to get a disc!

I had a very late evening appointment, and the two employees were helpful, pleasant and friendly.

I was seen very fast and everyone was pleasant.

As always, the staff was courteous and very professional. I had an MRI, and the technicians checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. I was offered an appointment earlier than the original appointment, which I greatly appreciated. While I was waiting for my disk following the procedure, another patient came in and thanked the receptionist for her help in scheduling an appointment. I highly recommend AMI from start to finish as they are always patient-focused and willing to help.

Changing room for mri was filthy, chairs full off hair and one had poop. Don't know the tachs names. The headphones didn't work, nor did the intercoms when tach was trying to speak to me.

Everyone was so pleasant with my CTA scan. Lindsay was so gentle with putting in the IV for the contrast dye. Sabrina was so helpful. I asked her for copies of the radiology discs and she ordered them and they were ready in about 15 minutes. Really good service!

I was asked to come 15 15 minutes ahead of my appointment....yet I had to wait just short of 1/2 hour to be seen. Don' appreciate the wait. If made the office wait...it would lose my appointment. Staff was great though!

I had a 3 part mri The first 2 went fine with I returned the following morning for part 3 ...I was told my paperwork didn't match ... Come to find if she would have looked she would have found it was all correct ... but she turned me away at 645am cuz it was to early to contact my dr... Now I have to wait almost a month to finish my mri... The people I worked with were wonderful except .....

The entire staff is excellent and efficient. I did not have an appointment but was taken as the X-Ray equipment was available right then. Checking in was quick and easy and the person handling mine was friendly and professional. The X-Ray technician Stephani was fabulous.

The technician Ed was anything but pleasant today. I commented that room was cold. He didn’t respond at all. He never spoke except to ask questions regarding my pain. He never smiled or offered a blanket. I did ask for the disc and he did reply that I needed to sign for it. He was not pleasant at all. If an employee is having a bad day perhaps he might avoid bringing his negativity to work.

My issue is with my initial call to request an appointment for an MRI. Apparently, AMI has outsourced this part of the process. It was an excruciating experience trying to speak to this individual who I could barely understand. Many parts of the conversation had to be repeated over and over. This is your first contact with AMI and should be a much better experience.

The front desk staff have patience of Saints. Overheard them dealing with a customer. They handled it very well first thing in the morning.

MRI staff was great. Older women with blond hair at main desk was awful. My dr wanted disc and report sent to her at Sloan Kettering. It was stated right on the prescription. The woman argued with me and went back and forth to the MRI room. Somehow they ended up with 2 prescriptions when I only brought in one. One said send disc to dr. The other didn’t say that. I have to assume she made a second copy which left out the instructions to send disc to dr. I ended up having to take disc with me and deliver it to the dr. Myself. I guess she thought it was easier for me, with the brain tumor to make the trip than for her to figure out to send the disc. As soon as I left AMI I called my dr who said she never sent AMI a different perscription than the one I brought with me. They were also upset that the disc wasn’t sent by AMI. Not only was the blond woman nasty and incompetent, she was committing a crime by altering the original prescription. KC
