I had received a pre-appointment estimate for the portion of the bill I was responsible for. I brought cash to pay that portion but the person who checked me in was pushing me to pay a much higher amount. The higher amount was a previous estimate that changed due to meeting the deductible on my insurance. Not sure why they were being so pushy for me to pay the higher amount when I had a later letter with the corrected amount.

Came in for an armpit and breast ultrasound as ordered by my doctor as stated by my doctor. Personnel refused to image breast. Tried to get me to mammo instead which is actually part of why I currently still have breast discomfort (possible damage from prior mammo in April for which I went to ER after sweling, pain, head and redness). I have continued swelling and discomfort in left breast. I refused mammo do to fact these symptoms could be from implant injury in April and also it’s just my right to refuse a painful mammo, I have a history of sexual assault, my mom is a breast cancer survivor and I left your facility today without any imaging on my left breast because “an ultrasound won’t catch what you describe” and I refused a mammo when it’s not even been a year since last and the last one actually injured me.
