The brace keeps falling apart. On the very first day, the Velcro strap came off. The next day they gave us another Velcro strap, but it fell off again the same day. They gave us a few extra Velcro pieces to try to fix it at home. By week 7, the brace broke between the fingers, and we had to cut it. Then the nurse told us to go to OT to have it repaired. They fixed it very poorly — by the time we got home, it had already fallen apart again. I ended up ordering a new brace from Amazon since we still need to wear one for another week until the next X-ray and follow-up with the doctor.

Sara Sipple, OTR/L, CHT, CLT, received her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 1999 and her Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) from the University of North Dakota in 2011. Sara has specialized in Hand Therapy throughout her entire career.
