Monte Morris, MOTR/L, CHT graduated from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center with her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2016. In her final clinical field work, she trained and later worked at a Level 1 Trauma Center in New Orleans specializing in outpatient orthopedic hand and upper extremity trauma. She received her Certification in Hand Therapy in November of 2019. She has worked at different outpatient orthopedic clinics in the Valley before starting OrthoArizona in October of 2022.

She is very passionate about mind body connection and enjoys learning about entire body systems and their role in the healing process. She is a Certified Yoga and Pilates instructor, so she enjoys incorporating her background in movement into her therapy sessions. She enjoys working with a variety of conditions including tendon injuries, fractures, repetitive use injuries, and arthritis. She loves to make custom splints. Monte enjoys making one on one connections with her patients to create individualized care plans to help her patients achieve their personal goals in therapy.
Monte’s treatment philosophy is to educate, empower, and advocate.
Monte enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and cooking. She loves spending her time with her husband, daughter, and dog.
