Jacob Wright, OTR/L grew up in a small town in Western Nebraska and pursued his dreams of playing collegiate football at Wayne State College. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Human Sports Physiology. After suffering a devastating left shoulder injury playing football, he was introduced to occupational therapy and became passionate about hand therapy. Jacob pursued a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Northern Arizona University and graduated in 2020.

Jake is the best! When I started going to OT, I thought I was going to have to have surgery. He told me that we weren’t there yet and not to worry about it yet. As I progressed, I told Jake that I wanted to get back into softball. He wrote me an entire throwing plan to work on. I’m now back playing softball and living my normal life. I would highly recommend working with Jake. Thank you for everything, Jake!
