Ashley had the opportunity to work under the supervision of a certified hand therapist and learn from hand surgeons at OrthoArizona during her fieldwork experience. Ashley completed her doctoral capstone project in a non-traditional setting and incorporated her knowledge of evidence-based techniques such body mechanics, ergonomic principles, & mindfulness-based interventions to create a pain reduction program for the perinatal population.
She is proficient in splinting and physical agent modalities (PAMs). Ashley has experience working with musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, fractures, pre-and post-surgery hand rehabilitation, burns, amputations, and ligament/tendon injuries.
Ashley is extremely passionate about supporting mental health and knows it is just as important as physical health. To keep her mind healthy, Ashley enjoys staying active by weightlifting and playing pickleball with friends. Her favorite instrumental activity of daily living (IADL) is baking sweet treats to share (and to self-indulge, too!) She values spending quality time with her fiancé and their dog, Rev.

Answered my questions in detail and thoroughly explained exercises. Guided me through the exercises until I got them right.
Ashley is very patient and knows how to read body language very well. When I am in pain, I tend to not verbalize it, but she reads me very well. She is kind and respectful of my particular needs, highly recommend!
Very patient & thorough. Thank you
Very nice, professional and knowledgeable.
Ashley is professional and friendly. Our mother recently had a stroke and Ashley knew how to communicate with her and show her the exercises she needed. Very positive experience, and we look forward to the ongoing therapy.

Broken finger. Ashley made an awesome splint for me. In my favorite lavender color. Worked diligently to get the splint just right. Great job Ashley!
