Andrea’s main focus is to add value to each patient’s care. Prior to joining OrthoArizona in 2022, for more than 10 years her work focused on helping patients recover from workplace injuries to the upper extremity and hand. This involved applying the most appropriate therapy from the broad variety of rehabilitation techniques available to each patient, e.g. custom splinting, and work simulation among other modalities. Andrea’s patient care philosophy is to be a genuine partner on the patient’s healthcare team, and to embrace honesty, transparency, and evidence-based care in every patient interaction.
She enjoys out of door adventures, including canyon exploration, coastal road cycling, international hiking, and travel. Spending time with family is also a priority.
Great communication and she gave me clear directions. I really feel she put the care into patient care.
Very organized and attentive
Very kind, takes time to explain things.
Andrea is very good at what she does physically and supportive in finding ways to adapt exercises so that I can do them at home in between.
Very pleasant, has good understanding of the function of the hand, listened to my concerns and applied appropriate treatment as needed
Andrea was professional, knowledgeable and personable. She took the time to answer all of my questions
Andrea is excellent. Her and her team were my Occupational Therapists through two hand surgeries. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and patient. She helped me understand the reasons why OT and the associated exercises were important. She was very good at explaining the particular anatomical areas of my hands that had been affected (that were painful) by the surgeries and the areas that needed to be re-strengthened. She also helped me to understand the timeframes for OT and healing so that I had real expectations and could tell if I was progressing according to schedule. I was very happy with her and would recommend her (and her team) 100%!
Wonderful hand therapist. She understood my pain and issues and worked the area of concern. I’m looking forward to my next appointment.
Andrea is professional, knowledgeable and personable. She is patient, yet firm in her desire to improve my quality of life. She’s an excellent hand and wrist therapist!
Efficient and very helpful.
