Trisha E. McIntosh, MS, ARNP, ACNP-BC, is a seasoned Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with Cardiovascular Medicine. She currently works in many capacities within the practice; supporting Dr. Coyne and his patients in the outpatient setting, working with the CVM Cardiology Hospitalist Program at Genesis Medical Center, and serving as the Clinical Coordinator for CVM's Bundled Payment for Care Improvement Program with Medicare.
Prior to joining CVM in 2005, Trisha's cardiology experience was gained through her role as a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, as well as a Nurse/Charge Nurse in the hospital Cardiac Cath Unit.
Trisha attended Clinton Community College and received her Associate's Degree in Nursing as an RN in 1992. She attended Clarke College, graduating in 1999 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She furthered her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, receiving her Master of Science in Nursing and completing the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program in 2005.
Trisha is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American College of Cardiology, and the Quad Cities APN/PA Alliance. Trisha’s professional interests include coronary artery disease and heart failure.
