She works very hard to make sure my daughter and I are getting the best care for us. We both have major health issues. She listens and always works with us for our best care.

Tara Thompson, FNP-C’s career began in adult medicine before she found her calling in the fast-paced environment of the emergency department. Her experience caring for patients in critical situations strengthened her passion for prevention and inspired her to help people take control of their long-term health and wellness.
Tara is dedicated to helping patients prevent and better manage chronic disease through active, compassionate care. She believes that trust and mutual respect are at the core of every strong clinician-patient relationship. Having first connected with P3 Health Partners during her master’s program, Tara was drawn to the organization’s supportive environment and commitment to whole-person care.
Outside of work, Tara loves traveling, strength training at the gym, and spending time with her husband, two teenage sons, and their playful bernedoodle, Rocky. A proud Utah Utes fan, she’s also known as the best free-throw shooter in her family — though her boys might disagree.
Her advice to patients is simple but powerful: exercise is medicine. Staying active and maintaining healthy eating habits are the best ways to keep the body strong and resilient at any age.
