Syvette Bethea, WHNP-BC, was born and raised in Kalihi in Honolulu, Hawaii. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hawaii Pacific University and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing in Women’s Health at Frontier Nursing University. Her nursing career began in an intermediate step-down unit at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. For the last two and a half years, she worked in their high-risk labor and delivery surgical unit, caring for women before, during, and after their obstetrical and gynecological surgeries. Syvette’s commitment to women’s health is rooted in her own life experiences. Raised by strong women and becoming a mother at sixteen, she gained a deep appreciation for the nurses and providers who offered support without judgment. Their compassion guided her path in nursing and shapes the way she cares for patients today. She focuses on creating a safe, empathetic, and reassuring environment where individuals feel heard, empowered, and understood.
Outside of work, Syvette enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing on Hawaii’s beaches, and traveling. She joined The Ob-Gyn Center on December 2, 2025.
