We love Mrs. Stormy!!! She’s been seeing my son since we lived in Swansboro when he was 7. He’s about to be 13 now and we still drive from Jacksonville to her for patient care. My son’s also on the spectrum and has adhd. Many providers never understood how much his anxiety affects him during visits. They never allowed him to touch their equipment or anything because they were afraid he would break it or mess it up. They always failed to see how letting him feel, hear, or touch the items drs use during check ups can ease his anxiety. It truly makes all the difference.. Mrs. Stormy understood that from the very beginning. She talks him through the steps while giving him the praise he needs at the same time. When other people have asked me why I drive further to see his provider it’s because she gives him exactly what he needs every single time. When you find a provider who gives that reassurance to your baby you just can’t let them go. 💕💖
Stormy is the best. She is very caring and actually cares for her patients. JCMC is lucky to have her.

Stormy always spends time to listen to the patient and then explain the course of action to deal with the issue being discussed.
I can't say enough good things about Stormy. From my very first appointment, she made me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. She takes the time to answer all of my questions, explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand, and never makes me feel rushed. It's clear she truly cares about her patients and wants the best possible outcome for them. Finding a doctor you can trust isn't always easy, and I'm grateful to have found one who consistently provides such compassionate and high-quality care. I highly recommend Stormy to anyone looking for a physician who truly puts their patients first!
