Shelby Schwab, FNP-C, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Colorado State University in 2000. She then decided that a career in Nursing was the next step and graduated from the accelerated program at Regis with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2004. After spending 16 years as an RN in obstetrics at the University of Colorado Hospital and in the Maternal Fetal care unit at Children’s Hospital, Shelby enrolled in a Master of Nursing program to continue her education. She graduated with her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020. She has spent the last 3 years as an NP working in both primary care and functional medicine settings.
Preventative care and helping patients achieve their best health are Shelby’s passions. She enjoys partnering with patients to reach their health and wellness goals and feels that optimizing health and preventing disease is the best path to feeling good and enjoying life.
In her spare time, Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 “big” kids. She loves being outdoors hiking, camping, and exploring Colorado with her friends and family.
