Friendly & efficient.

She was very ruff when removing sutures of both incisions. I have had many sutures removed in my life and her ruffness was unacceptable. She also left 1 stitch in both incisions. 2 sutures total. Due to edema and tenderness, I removed the steristrips and my husband and I removed the remaining sutures.

She was VERY rough, everytime she touched me it hurt. Her patient bedside manner is horrible. She continued to dig right in and cut the stitches out, even while I screamed out in pain.

She is super nice and explains anything you ask about. She's also very quick with getting stitches out.

My appointment was for 10:30. I arrived about 10-15 minutes early. I walked out at 10:28! If only all medical professionals operated that efficiently. Shannon was extremely friendly and professional. More importantly, she removed my stitches with no discomfort. She thoroughly explained how to care for my incision.

She’s a sweetheart

I was so encouraged by her diagnosis and suggestions for reducing my pain.

Although helpful, I do not believe she reviewed my chart before entering the room. I am in OT for Carpal Tunnel Surgery. She did not seem aware of my surgery or the radial head fracture on my left arm. Nurse Practitioners should be mindful of the patient's condition before entering the room.

She was very nice. This was a follow up for my child after having trigger finger release on three fingers. She looked at her hands /incisions only and said ok she is good to go after about 30 seconds. She didn't feel her fingers or bend them. I had to bring up that there was still a click in one and she said "oh, okay come back in six weeks". I would have thought that just a touch more time and attention and she wouldn't have missed it. I even mentioned it to RN prior to Shannon coming in. We were in and out of room within 3 minutes. Somewhat disappointed after the great care from Dr. Patel.
