Shannon has great bedside manners, she listens, and she truly cares. It’s not easy to be leaving my PCP and switching to her, but I believe I made the right choice. She took everything I had to say seriously and I know without a doubt she has my best interest at Hart. She is an absolute stellar practitioner and I would highly recommend her to anyone! I couldn’t have asked for a kinder, more caring medical care provider. Thank you Shannon for making me feel heard, and not treating me as if I’m just another number.

Shannon Guckien graduated from Indiana University of Kokomo with her nursing degree. She went on to achieve her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. Shannon came to work for Woodlawn in 2021.
“I like the staff that I get to work with at Woodlawn. Everyone has been supportive of me as a newer Nurse Practitioner,” Shannon stated.
Working in family medicine allows her to see and treat a variety of ages and conditions.
When she is not treating patients, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and kids and traveling.
