I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room. And I didn’t wait very long for the Nurse Practitioner to come in. Her exam seemed very thorough.

Shannon Guckien graduated from Indiana University of Kokomo with her nursing degree. She went on to achieve her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. Shannon came to work for Woodlawn in 2021.
“I like the staff that I get to work with at Woodlawn. Everyone has been supportive of me as a newer Nurse Practitioner,” Shannon stated.
Working in family medicine allows her to see and treat a variety of ages and conditions.
When she is not treating patients, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and kids and traveling.
