Sary De La Rosa is great! Very warm, friendly and welcoming. She took her time, I didn't feel rushed at all. I was one of the last appointments of the day and got taken seen on time!

Sary L. De La Rosa, MSN, FNP-C received her associate’s degree as a registered nurse (RN) in 2003 from Broward College in FL. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in 2014 from Florida Atlantic University. She was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award from Florida Atlantic University in 2014.
Sary worked as a Registered Nurse for a total of 15 years, with 12 years of experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care (ICU). During this time held multiple leadership roles. She worked as a charge nurse and was a preceptor for new nurses entering the ICU. She was part of the Rapid Response Team- a multidisciplinary team that responded to emergent situations throughout the hospital- and held the role of lead Code Nurse on that team.
Sary used the skills she acquired in the roles above to help her expand her scope of practice as she pursued her master’s degree in nursing. She graduated as a Nurse Practitioner in 2018 from South University. She worked for one year in an outpatient clinic setting treating a variety of acute and chronic conditions before joining the team at Asthma & Allergy Specialists, PA in December 2019.
She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Metrolina Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Sary is originally from Miami, Florida and is fluent in Spanish. She moved to Charlotte in 2015, with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and traveling.
