Staff was friendly enough at the visit; provider advised she was directing a prescription for cough medicine to pharmacy, but did not send it. I was instructed to use the medicine with OTC meds. When I called 24 hours later, was told that her notes said no script and to use OTC med for symptoms. Receptionist then hung up on me. This was my first - and last - trip to an urgent care. I’ll make the hour drive to my PCP.
