Rebecca Payne, FNP-C, grew up in the Chattanooga area. She graduated from the nursing program at Dalton State College in 2002 and worked for six years at Memorial Hospital. Rebecca attained a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga in 2008 with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration.
Rebecca joined Southeastern Spine in 2014 after working for five years in a related specialty. Rebecca is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She is a very caring provider. She takes time to listen to my concerns. She offers suggestions and explains what I am experiencing. I feel she is very compassionate and I am thankful for her.
I really love NP Payne. She very professional and kind. She's been with me through thick and thin concerning my back. She cares about her patients.
She is such a wonderful provider. She takes time to listen to your concerns and gives you some options. I was really worried about new damage to my spine but she set my mind at ease. Will start PT next week. I am greatly relieved!

It was the first time ever meeting her since I’ve been a patient at Southeastern, and I never felt heard. She was too busy trying to tell me where I should be in recovery instead of listening to where I’m at now. I’d rather not have to deal with her in the future.
