Cardiology has been an exciting and deeply rewarding journey for me. Cardiology has been an exciting and deeply rewarding journey for me. My career began as an intensive care unit (ICU) nurse, where I gained valuable insight into critical care that strengthened my passion for cardiology. In 2018, I earned my Master of Science and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (MS, ACNP-AG) degree from Georgetown University.
Each day, I find it an honor to care for our patients and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals. I take pride in helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment, and in supporting them as they improve their quality of life.
Outside of my work, I devote time to both my family and my service to our country. I have served in the U.S. Navy since 2011 and am passionate about caring for our Veterans. It was a privilege to be deployed to Afghanistan in 2020 during the COVID-19 crisis. That experience deepened my respect and gratitude for their sacrifice and resilience.
When I’m not working or serving, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially outdoors—we love staying active and exploring nature together.

Rachel is awesome. She had some not so good news for me and her manner of relaying it was excellent. This was our first time but I immediately could tell she's someone I can trust. I'll be asking for her for any future visits.
She was amazing very attended
Rachel explained my test results clearly, took the time to answer multiple questions, and presented next steps effectively. She was even nice enough to write up a summary so I could share important detail details with my wife.
