Following graduation, she worked with the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Hospitalist Group. She is licensed by the State of Florida as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Rachel works with Dr. Matt Lawson and plays a vital role in providing timely and high-quality neurosurgical care for his patients. Her responsibilities include assisting with patient evaluations, hospital rounds and consultations, first-assist in surgery, post-operative care and follow-up visits, and counseling patients and their families throughout their time in the clinic’s care.
Rachel is a native of Atlanta, but moved to Crawfordville as a teenager where she attended Wakulla High. She is now married and has a daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, cooking, and following Florida State athletics.
