After years of working as an emergency registered nurse, he pursued advanced practice to build upon his emergency medicine expertise with an expanded focus on preventive care, chronic disease management and building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. He received his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida.
Throughout his medical career, APRN Ceto served seven years as a Charge Nurse in a high-acuity Emergency Department, leading clinical teams during the most demanding overnight shifts of the week. He also served as a Professor of Nursing for three years in Polk State College, mentoring nursing students and giving back to a profession he deeply values.
APRN Ceto believes that exceptional healthcare begins with listening. His approach to patient care is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and honoring each patient’s values, life circumstance and health goals. He is committed to building trust with his patients, empowering them through education and partnering with them to achieve healthier and fuller lives.
When not caring for patients, ARPN Ceto enjoys spending time with his four rescue dogs. He stays active through working out, gardening and taking on carpentry and home improvement projects.
