Muneera Panjwani, APRN earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Yale University. As part of her Master’s thesis, she published a literature review in the renowned Journal of Advanced Practitioner in Oncology (JADPRO) in 2013. She is board certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Prior to Joining Interventional Spine & Sports Medicine(ISSM), she worked as an RN at Yale New Haven Hospital Smilow Cancer Center in the Department of Medical Oncology/Hematology for 5 years. Subsequently, after attaining her Master’s degree she practiced as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner at Smilow Cancer Center at Waterbury for 3 years.

She works collaboratively with Dr. Patel and Dr. Warycha to diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain conditions while providing patient-centered care focused on eliminating pain and restoring function.
