Advised to take 1 more pill of medicine that was not helping, and instead of offering a higher dose or alternative to what was working a little, said to stop taking it. Took 3 days to respond to message left.

From a previous visit at another pain clinic, he took the place of my Dr for several years, leaving the clinic fort relocating, never an issue with her! Dr Stevens within a few visits told me with my fentanyl patch discussion that I was doing illicit, many drugs I had never heard of! I have never in my life even sampled any illegal drugs! My direction in life has always been Fitness and Nutrition! I believe Dr Stevens switched my urine with one one of the employees known for drug use! In fact as soon as I left his clinic I went to my primary for a urinate test…. Of course it was negative for any illicit illegal drugs at all!! The next day I went back to Dr Stevens office with my results & he refused to see me!The ladies at the front desk were shocked at the idea of me using drugs! They had known me for years!! They advised me to make a formal Complaint against him and I did with the head of Drs administration & the Administration of the Clinic, naming Dr Stevens only ! To be continu

Dr Stephens’s don’t play when it comes to your narcotic medication. you can not get a refill if you lost your medicine. I like that about him. I like the respect he shows me and I to him. Michael is not always very friendly. They did a urine test the first time I saw him. I had CBD in my urine. I have taken the oil for a couple of years and it does help . When I saw Michael the next time he asked had I been using CBD oil again. I told him no . He told me I better not. I felt like he was treating me like I was a drug addict. The next time I saw him I told him I wanted off the hydrocodone. So he gave me 7.5 again. Today he gave me 5mg. to wean me off . Today he was very pleasant.

I came in for help with my pain from 10 plus years of fibromyalgia, and pars defect in my back. I was told I was over weight. I’m 5’6” and 140 lbs. I’m not fat!!! I felt as though I was being treated like a drug addict looking for a fix. I will not be back

Only downfall I found was generalization of people. He doesn’t care to listen or try to understand circumstances. Patients are not the same. Tried to minimize my pain and what I am dealing with concerning my health. I left feeling as though I wasn’t heard at all.

Great guy, feels like your friend you visited instead of a Dr. office .Lot of common sense and very professional. Most times it's one or the other. He's got both!

Wonderful as my doctor! He always listens to your issues and takes other health issues & meds into account before.determining the best course/path of action/treatment (med. changes, or additions, or use of MRI to determine changes, or procedures like steroid injections, etc.). Dr Stephens is strict about misusing your pain medicine. I like that about him. He’s friendly and quick it’s not a half a day visit. I pray that he never leave, Go be with him

I didn’t feel like he cared to help me, he was very short. Prescribed an NSAID after my bariatric surgeon and PCP advised me to stay away from them. He immediately told me he wasn’t giving me an opioid as if that was a request. I wanted pain resolution which I don’t have still.
