His clinical background includes direct pediatric care in high-acuity environments such as Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital, where he served on the cardiothoracic surgical team.
His scope of practice includes managing both acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including asthma and ADHD. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, simulation-based education, and interdisciplinary collaboration, Matthew is known for his clinical judgment, communication skills, and leadership in patient care.
In addition to his clinical work, Matthew has contributed to medical education as a simulation teaching assistant and pediatric research recruiter. He remains active in volunteer work, with a focus on health education and community service.

Please complete toddler wellness check ups correctly. There is no reason why you should not be checking a child’s abdomen and not removing their diaper to complete your assessment. At no point have I ever discouraged you from doing this and I’ve shown complete faith in your level of knowledge, but you’ve disappointed me twice now with the level of care you’ve shown my child. You should also try not disparaging other patients and their parents level of knowledge as a butt of a joke. It’s not welcome here. Your job is to be a welcoming presence that educates parents on how to care for their children. Not laughing at them and trying to get me to do the same. Do better Matthew. To those who oversee this facility, please have a practicing Pediatrician on site. While Matthew has his shortcomings, with the right leadership he can be a great asset to the company. Don’t let him and this site slip through your fingers. At least think of the malpractice claims you’re opening yourself up to.

Matt is always smiling and has a wonderful personality, which makes it so mich easier to explain and ask question without feeling like you are bothering him or feel stupid about what you asking. He goes above and beyond when it comes to checking on the kiddos and parents to make sure everyone is doing okay.
