She was not welcoming, I was nervous and my blood pressure high. She didn’t acknowledge my previous experience, no “I’m so sorry “. Looking back, I’m sorry I wasn’t friendlier but I had to wait 6 weeks for this appointment. Also, in the patient notes she writes I “denied “ having symptoms, sounds like she believes I’m lying? It was not what I expected.

She’s very compassionate & knowledgeable. However, I’d prefer communication on email so I can use my laptop; text is not good for me. I understand a charge for telehealth, but not just for a verbal call & since test results don’t take over a month for you to receive, I feel I should be contacted about results sooner than over a month later. Thanks for sending results to my PCP 2 days after the fibroscan. During my 1st telehealth with Maryam she mentioned doing a Sibo test, but now said I need to do the low fodmap diet. Is this in place of the Sibo test? Thank you.

She listened to my concerns and gave meaningful recommendations to me. Hopefully she will be able to assist in getting me authorization for a test and colonoscopy.
