Although I arrived early and waited patiently to be seen, I did not feel that I was given the level of attention I deserved as a patient. I voiced my concerns but did not feel heard. The provider spent no more than ten minutes in the room, and we had not finished addressing all of my concerns before the appointment was being concluded. I had to remind her that my primary reason for the visit had not yet been addressed. While I understand that other patients are waiting to be seen, this should not come at the expense of adequately addressing a patient’s concerns during their scheduled appointment.
