She also used her clinical experience to pay it forward as an adjunct clinical instructor for the nursing program she graduated from at Eastern NM University. She expanded her clinical knowledge to specialize in family practice and worked at Roswell Family Care, a walk-in urgent care/family practice in Roswell prior to moving to Texas. Mary and her husband of 25 years moved to Devine, Texas from Roswell, New Mexico as empty nesters last year.
