She is AWESOME!!!! As Always!!!!

I took my 85 yr old mother to see her. She listened to her patient and family. Took my mother's age in consideration when making medical decisions. My mother felt like she was being seen and heard as a person not just a number. Martie was very kind and patient with my mother.

My appointment was timely. The examination was good. We chatted about some information I had gotten before I got there. We made an appointment for a procedure on 17 November. Overall, with the staff the nurses and the nurse practitioner, I was very happy. I have not been to this office since 2008 but I remember that they were just as cordial and thorough them.

She quickly recognized my symptoms and the course of action to take. She seemed generally concerned about me as a person. However, the meeting was too rushed and I forgot to ask her some of the questions I had in mind. For example, when I mentioned that I've had a lot of stress for 10 years that is probably contributed to my problem, I meant to ask her if it would be good to get onto an anti-anxiety or antidepressant medication to help my condition. But she never went into the topic of stress even though she knows it plays a role in IBS.
