I couldn't ask for! She noticed conditions I've been dealing with for over 50 years, and started a extensive treatment plan, of I am very hopeful!

While the treatments helped improve my daughter’s acne, our overall experience was very disappointing. I expressed concerns about starting my teenage daughter on oral medication since her skin was already improving with topical treatments, but Nurse Practitioner Hampton dismissed my concerns and prescribed it anyway without properly answering my questions.
The medication was never filled, yet months later the office refused to refill her topical prescriptions because they claimed she needed a follow-up for the oral medication she was never taking.
At the follow-up appointment, the doctor and staff were rude and insensitive toward both my husband and daughter. Comments about her red skin and dandruff were handled with no bedside manner, leaving an already self-conscious teenager feeling embarrassed instead of supported.
While the treatments worked, the lack of professionalism, compassion, and communication outweighed the positives. We will be finding a new dermatology office.

Marie Hampton, NP-C, is an experienced board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She listens to her patients' concerns, shows empathy for their pain and suffering, and works diligently to find a solution to their problems.
Before pursuing her dreams to become a Nurse Practitioner, Marie dedicated the first 20 years of her career as a Registered Nurse in the following specialties: Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, and Emergency Medicine.
She later earned her Master's Degree in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She spent the next few years of her career working in Family Practice before venturing into the specialty of Dermatology. Dermatology is her true passion because she can be "hands-on" with her patients and problem-solve their concerns.
When not caring for patients, Marie keeps busy with her husband and raising their twin boys. Out of the office, she can be found at her boys' swim meets or at home cooking meals from different cuisines.
