Maggie’s career in nursing began at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University. She also worked in the UPMC Cancer Center as a treatment room nurse, a stem cell transplant coordinator and a clinical education specialist. While working in various nursing capacities, she also earned her Master of Science, Nursing Education degree from Chatham University. Following a year-long stint as a clinical instructor at Duquesne, she enrolled in the university a second time, achieving her Post Masters Certificate, Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018.
