Marc Durfee, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages. Raised in a military family, he moved frequently during childhood but proudly considers Arizona home, where he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. Marc began his career with a degree in Physiology and three years in the mental health field, working as a psychosocial rehabilitation specialist and behavioral health professional supporting individuals with serious mental illness, while also serving as a state-certified Spanish translator. He later earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University with high honors and spent nine years practicing as a nurse in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. He went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric mental health, again graduating with high honors. Marc believes that practitioners should be “part of the medicine” and takes a solution-focused approach, helping patients achieve meaningful, lasting recovery.
