I think she will be fine after we get to know each other it’s alway hard to go to a new NP she wasn’t very compassionate about my over all health cut my pain medication quantity and highly suggested I get off the muscle relaxers as she doesn’t believe they work I don’t feel she listened to me in the pain medication I feel she already was set on what she would do for me which is unfortunate as I have had two failed back surgeries and am in constant pain I hope that our relationship can improve with time

She instantly regarded my thoughts as useless and my concerns as irrelevant. She seemed much more concerned about keeping me off medications and doses she didn't feel "comfortable" with. Which most of us in pain management know means, that the legal limits placed on certain drugs are dictating her decisions, not any concern for my pain relief.

After 3 and no success in controlling the pain, I was told they don’t do thoracic nerve ablation because they have a hard time finding nerves. That’s when I knew I’ve been swindled for months for money and time. I’m truly shocked at how little I was communicated with, receiving different results from two different Swift doctors, her not knowing what medication I was already on, and trying to prescribe me a medication that would be dangerous to mix with my current medications. I want my money back from being swindled by swift.

She will tell you one thing for multiple appointments and then tell you the opposite the next appointment and say that the patient mis-understood.Likes to keep prescribing random meds without being clear what the medication is or the side effects, even when asked very specifically about the choice. She does not appear to be on the patients side. Hard to find a doc that is these days.

Came up with an answer that makes no sense. I had an ablation done on my back and neck, my neck feels numbed , she says that is due to the ablation, but I don't have any numbness on my back. So she didn't give me an answer to that. I'm there to see a doctor not a nurse.

I've seen Mallory Cushner for a few years now and she is an amazing Doctor. She listens to all my concerns, answers any and all my questions and cares about my health. I couldn't ask for a better Doctor.

She judged me the minute she walked in the door! Labeled me a drug seeking drug addict. Refused to help me at all and constantly tried to push antidepressants on me after me saying I had reactions too then with my heart and I am not Depressed!! I am in pain every single day. She refused to look at my MRI that I just had and surgery notes for both back surgeries as I had two. The 2nd failed. She still tried to push antidepressants after I told her No several times! And expressed this was a waste of my time it seemed as she was not listening too me and to nothing I said or expressed. I told her what meds worked good on me and how one pill lasts over six hours. Big mistake as her parting words for me after I asked if she was going to leave me like that? She said she won't help someone like me who would use "those meds", again Insinuating that I am a drug seeker. She walked out of the room after me refusing an antidepressant and laugh smiling after labeling and judging me.

She is always happy and upbeat and always listen to my concerns.

Tahoe fracture is a great place and she gives them a bad look. Horrible patient relationship. Doesn't listen and acts like she knows it all. If you can go see someone other than her, DO IT. Treats you like cattle and makes you feel like your pain is non existent. Worries more about looking at her laptop and typing than listening to what you have to say.

My perception is that she is genuinely concerned about providing the care that is best suited to my conditions in each 3 month cycle. I have been seen by Ms. Cushner for a few years now and I feel that she is very consistent. I appreciate her very much. Dr. Goode is amazing and I remember being concerned that I would not receive the same level of care but from the start she built a relationship with me as Dr. Goode did and built up the confidence that I value today. I apologize for the long-winded response but I feel that you would not ask your patients to rate their care if you were looking for just a star rating. I put the effort and thought into this rating that I feel reflects the amount of effort and thought that I receive during my visits.
