This is only the 2nd time I've seen Dr Lawrence. He is quite pleasant, but it felt awkward because I needed pain medication. When I had 3 broken bones and surgery 3 days prior. I don't like feeling stereotyped simply because I need help with the pain. Overall I'm healthy and I take very little medication. I think it's unfair to feel judged because others have abused pain meds, not me!

Absolutely loved Lawrence! He was super accommodating with my schedule, as far as working me in. He made sure he covered everything and I did not leave with any questions. Over all I was very pleased with my visit and the care I received. My husband has recently switched to him for his primary care and was very happy as well. I just wish we could give more than a 5 star rating.

Lawrence Kennard, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in emergency and primary care. A Newport, Tennessee native, Lawrence began his healthcare career in Eastern North Carolina, serving as a paramedic and certified firefighter with multiple agencies.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University, followed by his BSN from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
