Laura's interview was friendy, professional, well-informed, and thorough.I left with a clear understanding of the next steps in my tretment. I felt at ease asking questions, even silly ones. This all happened quickly and efficiently.
She did a good job testing and asking and poking and prodding and then ordered an x-ray. It seemed quite appropriate and was what I wanted

Laura was awesome. She listened to my concerns and was able to get right to the issue.
This was my first time coming to the urgent care at KVH. I hurt or tore some muscle or tendon in my arm. She looked at the arm trying to find the source of the pain. She then said I need to get an ultrasound to find the issue. She couldn’t get one that day, which was fine, but then said I need to check in to the emergency room. I stated that I’m not going to the ER. She then said this could be a blood clot and could possibly travel to my lungs and that I could die. She said this exactly, that “you could die” if I didn’t go to the ER! She then didn’t help with my arm in any way and made me sign a document saying I refuse to go to the ER! This is crazy, I hurt my arm either pulled or torn and the advice I get is this? This is like those early days of the internet when you’d google symptoms and receive some terrible diagnosis, ridiculous!
