Laura completed her Associate of Science in Nursing from Boise State University in 2004. As a registered nurse, she worked for two years on a surgical and trauma recovery floor. She returned to BSU and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007, and three years later achieved her Master of Science in Nursing from Idaho State University.
As a nurse practitioner, she worked in various fields including neurology, gastroenterology, hospice, and mental health. She previously worked at and in 2026 rejoined IGA. She enjoys playing the piano, swimming, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
