Kriste Parent is a dedicated and compassionate nurse practitioner with an impressive career at Southern Brain & Spine, where she has been an integral part of the medical team since 2006. Before stepping into her role as a nurse practitioner, Kriste spent a decade working as an ICU registered nurse, honing her skills and gaining invaluable experience in critical care.

Throughout her tenure, Kriste has been an active participant in all aspects of patient care. Her responsibilities have encompassed providing essential individualized preoperative instructions to her patients, delivering attentive postoperative care, as well as assisting during surgical procedures. Kriste’s commitment to her patients extends beyond the operating room. The most rewarding aspect of Kriste’s career has been following her patients from the beginning of their care journeys, guiding them through their postoperative recovery, and witnessing their transformation to a pain-free and healthier life.

As a native New Orleanian, Kriste holds a special connection to her community. She takes great pride in serving the people of her city and contributing to their wellbeing. She currently resides in Metairie with her loving family, where she continues to be a pillar of support both in her personal and professional life.
