She used to listen to me, now that I am in pain constantly, (And I tell her), She seems to think there's nothing wrong with me besides Arthritis. I really wish that when I see a Dr. That they could focus on me and what's in My Chart, and my symptoms and what I am asking for. I've been asking to see Dr. McDermott for at least a year, thee epidurals help a lot, I've asked at this last appointment in May 2025 to get an epidural and she just says but you need an MRI, I say I just had one that she ordered, she opens my Chart and see's that ,Oh , ya Oh! I have problems with my back, neck, feet, hands left shoulder and I literally don't do anything anymore due to my pain issues that can become embarrassing when people don't know what to do for me, and neither do I but just sit and go to bed. Don't get me wrong Kimberly is great but I am being brushed away.

Kimberly Koerner, APRN has worked as an orthopaedic nurse practitioner in Reno since 2009. She is experienced in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions and osteoporosis. Kimberly is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals and improve their quality of life. Nurse practitioners (NPs) evaluate patients by examining medical histories; performing physical exams; and sending orders for diagnostic tests. NPs complete on-going continuing education (CE) to stay informed of technological, methodological, and other developments in their field. Nurse practitioners not only serve as healthcare providers to patients, but also act as community mentors and educators.
