Kelsey is wonderful! Very easy and comfortable to talk to. I asked her to run a test to check something I had a concern with...she did, without hesitation -for my peace of mind. She takes the time to explain things and addresses any questions or concerns you may have. She keeps you informed of test results via my chart messages. I didn't feel as if I was at the doctor- i felt like I was visiting with an old friend and it was only the 2nd time I had seen her for an appointment.

My visit with Kelsey was a doctor that listens goes above and beyond to make sure the patient is heard! I felt very comfortable talking with her and felt very welcome from all office staff I had to get labs and test done the profiency and accuracy was well organized and quick I appreciate professionalism in hospitals five stars overall

She takes her time and listen to my wife and I when we see her. She really shows us both that she really cares about our health and try’s to make sure that we both get what we need to live safe.

Kelsey is incredibly knowledgeable and deeply understanding. Over the past two years, she has supported me through so much, always determined to get to the root of an issue rather than simply putting a band-aid on it. She has a warm, welcoming bedside manner that immediately puts you at ease. I am truly grateful to have her alongside me on my health journey, especially during times when I’ve been exhausted and she’s stepped in, picked up the pieces, and carried things forward for me

Kelsey Heckaman, FNP-C, has her Master’s in Nursing and is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
“The most rewarding part of being an FNP is giving patients the tools and the education they need to take back control of their bodies. I am passionate about getting to the root cause of disease to allow true healing for my patients,” Kelsey said. She started working for Woodlawn in 2011.
“Woodlawn is such a gem in this community. We are so blessed in such a small town to have such an exceptional healthcare system.”
Kelsey is a wife and mom to three little ones. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and being outdoors.
