She didn’t bother to read all the paperwork I filled out and didn’t. Other to tell me( the patient) she was changing my insulin. When I asked she said she was trying to do 18 things at once. What ever happened to patients rights? I told her 2 times I was out of all my insulin but she didn’t bother to listen to what I (the patient) had to say. My home nurses told me to go there bc I was all out of my blood pressure meds and insulin. I have had a tough time with being diabetic and being told I need an insulin pump the. The doctors do what they wanna do w/o even talking to me about it. Being terminally ill makes me question things.now and she was beyond d wrong today. I have a right to choose what I put into my body and know meds I took that didn’t work or I had an allergic reaction that I never had to same meds before. It’s me that pays the price when medical professionals think they know my body better than I do and refuse to hear it hat I’m telling them. Shame on her!!!

Fantastic provider! Highly professional and caring. Not my PCP but took on my appointment and listened to everything in order to get me the care I needed. Very personable and empathetic. Highly recommend this office all staff are amazing!

Nobody likes to go to the Dr’s however Mrs. Duncan goes above to take the patient feel comfortable and all concerns out questions are answered before you leave.

Kelly is always present for my appointments. She’s easy to talk to about all of my healthcare needs and concerns. She helps me understand different aspects of what I might need healthcare wise. Such a blessing to have as my doctor.

Dr Schumate is my normal physician for over a decade. Dr Schumate over the years has been the absolute best Dr ever & I'm on a strict regimen with my medications. Dr Schumate also learned a lot about my previous history with DV & (@ that time) also my older son constantly beating me etc.
Unfortunately during this visit Dr Schumate was sick so I had to see Dr Kelly. I know she is probably overwhelmed & busy. I stated to her that I was good mentally, my youngest & I are safe, haven't had a seizure in years & told her why I was on my medicine & how often I take it etc. Some of her questions we're a little triggering for me. I completely broke down in the room. I'm sorry but I met you 10 minutes ago & everything you need is in my chart. Yes she was looking @ my chart, I think she looked @ me twice. My appointment was a 6 month wellness/refill request. I get it you're doing your job but her approach was just off-way off.
No bad blood, I just didn't feel comfortable talking to her.
