Meet Katie Price, FNP – a passionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner at JCMC.

Katie hails from the vibrant coastal city of Virginia Beach, VA, where she was brought up amidst the beauty of the shoreline. Engaged and sharing her life with two beloved dogs, her heart is always full of love and companionship.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Katie specializes in Family Nurse Practice, and her educational journey is truly remarkable. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University, a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Jacksonville University, and she earned her Master’s in Nursing (FNP) from Simmons University.

Katie’s journey into healthcare was driven by a desire for direct impact. Transitioning from nursing to becoming a provider allowed her to influence patients’ health journeys more profoundly.

At JCMC, Katie thrives in the fast-paced environment of Urgent Care. Every day brings a new challenge, an opportunity to learn, and a chance to make a difference. Her dedication shines through as she guides patients on their paths to recovery.

With a warm smile and a wealth of wisdom, Katie’s most common advice to patients is simple yet impactful – take all prescribed antibiotics, even if you feel better.

In her free time, you’ll find Katie basking in the sun at the beach, tending to her garden, or sharing moments of joy with her playful dogs. A fun fact about Katie: she was a skilled player in D1 field hockey during her college days.

Tuscany holds a special place in Katie’s heart as her favorite vacation spot, offering the perfect blend of beauty and relaxation. And when it comes to food, sushi is a must for this adventurous palate.

As she tends to her patients and embraces the unpredictability of each day, Katie’s playlist includes the soulful tunes of Chris Stapleton – a reflection of her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
