Kathleen Schaut MSN, APN, CPNP-PC

Katie Schaut, CPNP-PC, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner who provides specialized pediatric care across several of the practice’s Ocean County locations. She earned her nursing degree from Drexel University and her graduate degree from Maryville University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is currently pursuing an additional certification in pediatric acute care through Vanderbilt University to further expand her clinical expertise.

In addition to primary care, Katie has special interests in pediatric endocrinology and critical care medicine. She is dedicated to improving outcomes through evidence-based practice and frequently presents at professional conferences, including the annual NJENA Emergency Care Conference. Her motivation in pediatrics stems from the opportunity to positively shape a child’s long-term health—providing exceptional care today that supports lifelong well-being.

Raised in the small town of Palmyra, New Jersey, and later a resident of Moorestown, Katie values community and connection in her work. She and her husband, Tom, have four children and a dog named Sandy. Outside of work, she enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and embarking on active family adventures. Katie believes that “young children have a sort of sixth sense—they can tell almost immediately when they are in the hands of someone who truly cares and genuinely loves what they do.”
