Karen Patterson, WHNP, provides care to her patients as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Karen graduated with her bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana State University and attended the University of Cincinnati. There she obtained her master's degree as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She has also received specialized training in colposcopy care through the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP), an organization in which she is also a member. Karen has a background in women’s health oncology and labor/delivery. She also has a special interest in adolescent health education, contraceptive care, and preventative health. Karen enjoys spending time getting to know her patients. She strives to provide a positive and comfortable experience that encourages her patients to return for their annual exams with confidence. Karen and her husband, Brad, have four children and live in Franklin County. She loves spending time with her family, going on walks, being outdoors, watching her children play sports, and traveling.

Fantastic NP! Always listens!
She potentially saved my life by urging me to get a transvaginal ultrasound for my fibroids and a fairly large mass was incidentally found . It ended up being non cancerous, but it had caused a lot of back and bowel problems I thought I was stuck with for the rest of my life! She set me up with the perfect surgeon at the perfect place! Everyone was super professional, compassionate, friendly, and supportive! Including Karen of course! I'm blessed to have her and this group of staff in my corner. I am doing great and getting a little stronger, happier , and healthier each day!Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

She was able to give me more information in a 30 minute appointment than 30 doctors appointments with my Last OBGYN. She’s amazing! She’s lovely and makes you feel welcome and comfortable.
Always nice & explains things thoroughly
I always feel better leaving my visits with her. She is always listening to my concerns and is also very personable. Her MA Brooklyn is also so nice as well!
