NP appeared to be both courteous and professional during the exam. However, she prescribed 240 packets of an expensive medication that she did not know how effective it will be. Why so much? Additionallyy, according to Johns Hopkins Medical Center website, the new medication often has a detrimental impact on the effectiveness of the psych meds that I am on. Without the balancing benefit of these psych meds, I have a history of being hospitalized more than once to get my psych meds adjusted, which is a very unpleasant experience, but I prefer living to not. When someone who has the number and dosage of psych meds on board, NP Lathers should ask more questions about the patient’s condition(s) and she should be better versed in how these various medications interact with each other. No one can know how all medications interact with, but there’s an app for that!

in this first visit, Karen was very comprehensive in her review by Gastro history and current situation, and continued with a very comprehensive plan for further review and future programming – – a pleasure to work with.

Out of sync with patient notes and breath test recommendation to take glucose instead of Lactulose was incorrect. I have IMO and SIBO. They don’t show as positive with glucose. Endoscopy biopsy showed negative for h pylori, and after I got retested with my PCP it was positive.
