Karen Chaanine, DNP, FNP-C, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Maryville University in Missouri. Her undergraduate education included a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University, an Associate Degree in Science- Respiratory Therapy from Carteret Community College, and an Associate Degree of Nursing from Craven Community College.

Karen works with Dr. Garlon Campbell as part of the interventional pain management teams that specializes in the conservative treatment of patients with chronic pain, whether through injections or carefully monitored medication administration. She offers patients a holistic approach that includes evaluations and referrals for additional medical and mental health needs.
Covering nearly three decades, Karen’s vast experience ranges from serving as a nurse in numerous hospital settings, such as ICU/PACU, surgery and emergency departments, to extensive clinical experience in pediatrics, family medicine and OB/GYN.
