Julie is a very good listener. I enjoy my brief visits and she is also timely. She is also educated about up and coming changes in women's health screenings. I appreciate her knowledge.

It would be nice if nurse practitioners took a little more time with their patients. I felt rushed and I was not heard about my concerns and some of the treatments I have been doing. I was made to feel silly and it felt a little condescending. Not my ideal visit.

She’s rushed in a hurry and quick to answer questions saying it’s basically not her department.
Julie Stevens, CRNP, was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Her interest in the medical field began early, notably in first grade when she declared her aspiration to become a nurse. As a teenager, she often worked in medical offices, from filing charts to transporting patients in hospitals. She pursued her passion at St. Mary's College in Moraga, California, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Her nursing career immediately began in Labor and Delivery, spanning 10 years and taking her through Northern and Southern California, Arizona, and Boise, Idaho. Wanting to deepen her connection with patients beyond the delivery room, she went on to achieve her Women's Health Nurse Practitioner degree. Since 2004, she has been dedicated to caring for women in the Treasure Valley, a career she continues to enjoy. Julie cares for women of all ages, with a special interest in teenagers. Outside the office, she enjoys rafting Idaho's beautiful rivers with her husband, watching her son play baseball, or walking the greens as her daughter plays golf.
