recently went through multiple tests and a procedure at the direction of my doctor in an effort to determine and resolve an ongoing medical issue. Unfortunately, the issue never went away, despite following the recommended course of care.
When I returned to address the same ongoing concern, I was informed that my doctor would be provided with information to essentially repeat the same tests and procedures I had already undergone. This was very frustrating and left me feeling as though my concerns were not fully heard or understood.
I understand that additional testing may sometimes be necessary, but I believe my previous test results, procedures, and ongoing symptoms should be carefully reviewed before repeating the same course of action.
Because my issue has continued and I do not feel that my concerns have been adequately addressed, I have decided to seek a second opinion.
