Julia Sparkman, PNP, is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who provides care for children and families at the Morehead City office. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University and is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. With more than 15 years of clinical experience, Julia is dedicated to supporting children’s health and development through thoughtful, family-centered care. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing.
Julia was drawn to pediatrics because of the joy and resilience children bring to every stage of growth. She values the opportunity to partner with families as they navigate the milestones and challenges of childhood, helping children grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.
Originally from Kinston, North Carolina, Julia spent many summers along the state’s beautiful coast and now enjoys continuing that connection to the region. She is married with two grown sons and enjoys traveling, hiking, boating, and spending time with friends and family. She believes deeply in the privilege of caring for children and supporting families as they build healthy futures together.
