Jodie began her career in medicine as an Intensive Care Registered Nurse at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL in 2008. She completed her undergraduate work at Lewis University, Romeoville, IL where she was accepted into Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society. From there she obtained her Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Certification and additionally began teaching advanced cardiac life saving (ACLS) for the American Heart Association.
Her post graduate work was completed at Loyola University Chicago. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners since 2018. Jodie is also a Registered Phlebology Sonographer. She began her career as an advanced practice nurse at Loyola University Medical Center in the department of Interventional Radiology. It was there she began using advanced technology to perform minimally invasive procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, tunneled line removal, wound closure/suturing, port-a-cath removal, tunneled abdominal drain placement and fine needle aspiration. She joined our practice in 2019 and sees patients throughout our North Texas locations. Jodie assists and performs a number of our endovenous procedures. Jodie works collaboratively with our physicians and is passionate about patient centered care. She focuses treatment modalities on current evidenced based practices.
When she is not working, she enjoys running. She has run the Chicago marathon twice and is hoping to run the Dallas marathon in the future. She likes going out to eat, listening to live music and traveling.
