Jessica Trahan, WHNP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McNeese State University in 2021 and began her nursing career in Labor & Delivery in 2022. During her time at the bedside, Jessica gained extensive experience in obstetric care and earned certifications in inpatient obstetrics and fetal monitoring. Jessica is passionate about evidence-based care, patient education, and providing compassionate, individualized care to every patient she serves. She is an active member of NPWH and the AWHONN.

Jessica Trahan, WHNP, grew up in Carencro, Louisiana and has always had a heart for caring for women and families. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McNeese State University in 2021 and began her nursing career in Labor & Delivery in 2022. During her time at the bedside, Jessica gained extensive experience in obstetric care and earned certifications in inpatient obstetrics and fetal monitoring.
Her passion for being part of families’ most meaningful moments inspired her to further her education and expand her role in women’s healthcare. Jessica earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Women’s Health from the University of South Alabama in December 2025. She finds great fulfillment in walking alongside women through all stages of life and loves being part of both the beginning and expansion of families.
Jessica and her husband, Joey, currently reside in Lafayette and are proud parents to four children: Jayden, Oaklyn, Nathan, and Parker. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys attending church, spending time with friends, cheering on her children at their extracurricular activities, and making memories with her family while exploring all that Acadiana has to offer.
