Meet Jessica Roberts, an experienced Nurse Practitioner who has spent most of her healthcare career in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she recently moved from in the fall of 2022. Prior to graduating from Simmons University with her Master’s Degree – Nurse Practitioner, Jessica was the head nurse of a family practice clinic at Fort Carson, Colorado. During her time as the head nurse there she worked closely with active duty soldiers, military families, retirees and the Department of Defense to improve patient care and satisfaction in her clinic. Jessica was awarded the Commander’s Award for implementing the national recognition PCMH model to her clinic.
As a Nurse Practitioner, she continues to strive for the highest level of care for all of her patients. With expertise in primary care, addiction medicine, mental health, and pain management, she excels in delivering outpatient care to patients with acute and chronic conditions. She is passionate about serving the community she is in and focusing on the under-served communities. Providing all her patients with individual evidence-based practice care plans, effective collaboration, and quality improvement initiatives.
Jessica is known for her compassion and dedication, making her a valuable asset across diverse healthcare settings. Her educational goal is to finish her Doctorate so that she can teach the next generation of nurses and nurse practitioners.
During her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family traveling to the beach or back to the mountains of Colorado.
